San Ildefonso is a state primary school that offers a bilingual education. It has three nursery classes and seven primary classes. The school is in the same building as the San Ildefonso Residential wing.

The building is made up of four floors. On the first three floors there are eleven classrooms, the library, the computer room, a multi-use room, the English department, the assembly hall, the staffroom, the dining hall and two offices for the teaching staff. The fourth floor is nearly all taken up by the girls' residential wing.

On the lower ground floor of the annexed building there is a workshop and the gym. The playground is In between the two buildings and this is used as a football and basketball court. If the weather does not allow outdoor sports there is a covered area where the children can play and do many other activities.

The school equipment is of very good quality/high standard and is greatly used by students and teachers. Lunch in the dining room is one of the most important services provided by the school and it is used by 85% of the pupils.
