January 23, the day of our Patron Saint San Ildefonso, is without doubt the most important event celebrated by our Association. The day starts with a mass in honour of those who, with love and dedication, managed to make the San Ildefonso School the most prestigious educational and child protection institution of all Spain.

When the service has come to an end the cultural activities begin. These aim not only to delight those attending but also to show the Association's interest in promoting culture as the means to educate and live a fuller life.

At the end of these activities everyone enjoys the traditional "Brotherhood Dinner" with the customary "Madrid Chickpea Stew".

The final act is the awarding of the "Victor García Award" which is not only the Association's most important award but also the highlight of the day as everyone shows the award winner their appreciation of his personal qualities and his love for the School and the Association.
