This distinction was created in memory of an exemplary teacher and close friend: Victor García y García.

He was the creator of the Association and his infinite generosity is reflected in the eyes of his students, his children. This schoolmaster remains with us because we need, more than ever, an example of outstanding human and professional values as a guide for the many challenges that the future has in store for us.

The Distinction is awarded at the San Ildefonso Festivity to those who have stood out culturally, socially or humanely as did our loved and admired friend Victor García.
